We have had a wonderfully exhausting first week. Jessi is a blast! She’s a very alert baby and very smart. She hasn’t quite figured out her days and nights and spends most of the night awake. It is actually 2:00am and I’m writing this one handed as I snuggle her. I may be tired but I know this precious time will fly by so I am cherishing every moment.
It’s been fun sharing my growing belly with you weekly, but I’m so thankful that has come to an end!! Goodbye belly…Hello Jessi!!
No more friday belly shots for me!
I can’t believe I’m actually posting this. Yes, I’m still pregnant. Yes, I’m miserable. Yes, it will end…hopefully. This BETTER be the last friday belly shot!!
41 Weeks
We made it. FORTY WEEKS! Today is our official due date! It’s crazy to look back on the past nine months and how I never thought March 12th would ever get here. Well….it’s here. And I’m still pregnant.
I’m not progressing very quickly (although we all know labor can start in an instant, and that’s all up to the Big Guy), so we go in on Tuesday to check up on the kiddo and sit and make some decisions. There is a possibility I might have to have a c-section due to some issues, or we may possibly induce and try this thing naturally. Ideally I’d like to just go into labor on my own and have her naturally but she’s taking her sweet time and the doctor is concerned to let me go too much longer.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers over the next week. Pray she comes on her own. Pray she comes SOON. Pray for my strength to do this thing, and the hubby to be able to support me without me telling him I hate him for doing this to me!
It’s been a long, but joyous 9 months. The best is yet to come.
40 Weeks
Well we’re down to the end!! 7 days. One week. Hard to believe! Now we’re just hoping and praying she makes her arrival this week sometime! The contractions have been pretty intense all week and we’ve had a couple times we thought we might be off to the hospital but no such luck. Getting pretty tired, miserable and uncomfortable. Ahhh the joys of pregnancy. Come soon little one!!
39 Weeks
We made it!!!!! FULL TERM!!! I would be more than happy to kick this kid out of Hotel KK any day now. I’m exhausted. I’m tired. I’m done. So come on baby girl…come see us soon!
37 Weeks
February 12th. I really thought this day would never come. It’s officially my last day of work for 3 1/2 months!!!! Yippeeeeeeeeee!! I am so excited to be able to take the next few weeks to rest and really prepare for Baby Girl to arrive. I keep hoping she comes early to put me out of my misery, but I also wouldn’t be opposed to having the full 4 weeks to just rest.
This week our doctor told us that she thinks we’ll have a smaller baby just from her judgment, and I’m really hoping for about a 7 pounder. As long as she’s not walking out as a toddler then I’ll be fine 
All is going great with baby, and we seem to be right on track! The contractions are really keeping my body busy and exhausted, but also it’s good that my body is already preparing. Only 4 weeks to go!
36 Weeks
Wow…only 5 weeks until my due date. I really can’t believe we’ve made it this far! I’ve been feeling a lot of contractions over the last week, some of which have really freaked me out. Some of which are probably just gas. Who knows. Part of me hopes this means my little angel will come a couple weeks early, but I’m really praying she stays in there until she’s fully cooked and ready to come out. I’ve been telling her everyday that her birthday is March 5th, so maybe a month from today she’ll listen and decide it’s time
I really think the camera does put on 10 pounds, because I don’t think I look this big in person. Oh well. Here you go anyway, because I promised to do this until the end. As frightening as it may be.
35 Weeks
Today the hubby and I take off on a little mini vacation to enjoy our last little bit of time together alone before the baby arrives! I’ll be taking a little break from the world, but I’ll be back Tuesday to tell you all about our amazing trip!
Yup…and I’m as big as a house. And look like I haven’t slept in weeks. Ahhhh the joys of pregnancy….
32 Weeks!
Baby Girl is about 3 1/2 pounds and around 16 inches long. She’s been moving a lot and making mommy VERY uncomfortable! All worth it right? We’ll talk about that in 9 weeks
