Yesterday was a great day. Beach, sand, my hubby, a good book, some good music and…..the sun. Oh the sun. I forgot about a tiny important thing. I’m a white girl. VERY white. Ghostly white. The sun enjoys my skin. And it had a hay day on it yesterday.
I’m burnt to a crisp!!! I look very lobster-ish. I’ve been lathering on the Aloe and hoping I don’t get sick!!
We were supposed to go to Laguna today with some friends from church, but I’m in so much pain and so burned that we had to skip out on that trip. Besides, it is 94 degrees today so I figured that wouldn’t be the best option!!
I went and bought TWO bottles of sunscreen last night. Bring it on summer. I’m ready for you (in about a week when my burn goes away of course).
Last night we rented Marley & Me. WOW…such a great movie. For all you dog owners out there, go get this movie. I love my little Jack Bauer more than ever after watching it. However, saddest movie I’ve seen in a long time! I bawled like a baby. Go read the hubby’s review of the movie. Very touching.
Today we’re relaxing and bathing in Aloe every 10 minutes. Maybe next time I’ll remember the sunscreen. Ouch.

Yup, that’s my Mr. Right. I got VERY spoiled being out of a job for a while and getting to spend 24/7 with him. If I didn’t have to work and could spend every moment with him, I totally would! Of course I would do that if someone was paying us to still get to live the way we do now.
I sure do like him and love getting to sleep in, cook him breakfast, chill on the beach and just enjoy some quality time together! Can’t beat this time we have together!!

We’ve taken Jack to the beach a couple of times but not for long, and that got him adjusted well I think. Today we took him for a while and he LOVED IT!! It was so funny to watch him run around and play. He was so excited.
It was about 75 degrees today and so nice! I can’t help but brag to all of you that are in freezing temps right now in OK and Texas! HAHAHA!!

Brook and I found a place! We are going to rent a condo across the street from the beach. How awesome is that?? The condo has been completely redone from top to bottom and is super nice. What an awesome deal.
We are in the process of working out the details with the owner, but it’ll work out perfectly because our house in Fort Worth on the 12th. So in a little over than a week we will have a home and be across the street from the beach. Hopefully jobs will work out sooner than later!

Welp, it’s offical. We’re moving to California. HOORAY! Well I guess as long as everything goes ok with the inspection on our house Friday we’re moving We aren’t really worried about that though.
We’ve started packing and trying to get rid of a TON of our stuff so we can downsize our lives. Good times!
I am so excited to be on the beach! I think my darling hubby is a tiny bit excited about it too. I am looking forward to what God has for us out there. So many things in the last few months have been pointing us in this direction, and we are taking the final steps to get there. Please be praying for jobs, and a place to live!
