when life explodes with goodness

Whoa, I have been busy. Remember that time I started a new business and then got preggo immediately? Hello, complete exhaustion! There is so much good and so many huge blessings going on in my life right now. I'm amazingly overwhelmed with my God and all He is pouring out in my life. So stinking cool!

This pregnancy is so different than the first two (so far). I'm not very far along at all but so far I'm feeling pretty good!! I'm starting to rely on nap time more for a chance to rest (so thankful the girls are on the same nap schedule!) I may be exhausted, but they are such a joy!

I'm working hard on an upcoming wedding that I'm super excited about. I just love doing weddings and seeing a couple so excited to start their life together!! What a joy and an honor to be a part of making that day so special and easy for them!!

I have some crazy fun blog stuff happening too! Since joining up with The Influence Conference Community Leaders team, I prayed that God would provide the monies needed to make the trip. He did. IN ONE DAY. Blew my mind. So thankful for the opportunities coming up and the amazing sponsors who are diving into this thing with me. Gonna be some fun things going on around here!!! I'm stoked!

I just enjoyed an amazing 3 day weekend with my hubby home, and soaked up every bit of family time as possible. My joy is overflowing and I'm so happy with the place we are in!

Thanks for your support and encouragement during this busy yet exciting season in my life. I adore every single one of you!!!

Oh, and know what 3 babies in 3 years means? My belly is already popping out. Yikes! (6 week belly pic coming Wednesday, get excited!!)

the little things of summer

I love summer.

Full of lots of water fun, and lots of sunshine. My girls are at such fun ages to introduce them to new things and experience lots of first with them! Our summer is off to a great start and so much fun is ahead.

What have we been up to?

-- Cupcakes --

-- Swimming with cousins --

-- Snocone dates with daddy --

-- Wagon Rides at my parent's farm --

-- Lunch with friends --

Summer is off to a great start.

yes, I have a potty in my car.

I feel like I need to play catch up! I've been crazy busy and not really sure with what? Oh right, changing diapers and cleaning poo off the floor ;) Potty training is going great, but it's just annoying!! I'm really proud of how well Jessi has done. She still has accidents, and needs reminding but she'll go days being dry. I will put that in the win column! I joined the next level of motherhood and I drive around in my minivan...with a POTTY IN THE BACK. I still can't get over that!!

I've been getting involved with a couple different groups of women, and started working part time (just one day a week) at the church working with our kids ministry. It's been great finding some places to get plugged in and meeting some amazing people. My plate is more full than ever, but it's been great!

It's really the little things lately.

My exhaustion is at an all time high, but my JOY is at an all time high.

It's Zoey's giggles and her "dadadadada yayayayaya" that I hear from her bed early in the morning.

It's Jessi's insane giggles and her fake smile when I try to take her picture.

It's the fact that I have a potty in my car and that makes me laugh.

It's new friends.

It's hilarious trips to the grocery store.

It's the tingly feeling I get when I hear the garage door go up. I love that man SO much.

It's the refreshing spring rain and the sunshine breaking through the clouds.

It's the quiet in the house at the end of the day and I have a sleeping baby in my arms.

It's the little things.

Hello Hue Little Things

being blessed

Motherhood is hard. DUH. It is by far the most exhausting thing I have ever done. It's also the most rewarding and enjoyable experience of my life. Sometimes I find that it can be so easy to focus on the hard times, and let the exhaustion take over. Right now, I'm very worn out. Brook has had the flu for the last 3 days, I haven't felt well in over a week, Jessi is cutting her 2 year molars and Zoey doesn't sleep. Needless to say, I'm beat. But do you know how blessed I am? INCREDIBLY. My husband loves and adores me. He's crazy about our children. I have two perfect and healthy little miniature humans. I've recently joined an amazing group of women who are some of the most encouraging and honest people I've ever known. Our leader is encouraging us to write 100 things we are thankful for every 2 weeks. I love this. It gets kinda tough once you list the obvious things, but it has pushed me to see the blessings in the little things.

All that to say, I'm going to share some of these things with you and encourage you to look for the little blessings in your every day!

 Ten Blessings of the week:

Chai Tea - I'm not a coffee drinker, but I looooove chai. I have a cup every morning, and usually another during naptime to refuel :)

Sidewalk Chalk  - Spring is coming! I'm loving playing outside with the girls.

Rest - My mom came over yesterday to help with the girls and I got TWO naps. Praise Jesus!

Snuggling Toddlers - Jessi is teething, and that means lots of snuggles.

Dryer - I love having a dryer to fluff my clothes so I don't have to fold them right away!

Library books - Free books are so great and Jessi learns new things every week.

Stickers - Providing hours of toddler entertainment.

Swings - Even big kids need to swing every once and a while. So carefree.

Encouragers - People that get me through the tough days.

Baby sunglasses - Come on. That just makes you happy!
