seeing their smiles {#smilingitforward}

I pry my eyes open to look at the clock, and it glares back at me: 3:26am. Her screams break me out of my sleep, and I jump up and rush to her bed. Moms just know their baby's cries. They know what the hunger cry is and the sleepy cry. The frustrated cry or the wet diaper cry. And then there's the sick cry. I hadn't heard those cries before from my 8 month old. She had been sleeping through the night great for a while, and this wasn't the hungry cry. It was the sick cry, and it was heart breaking.

Daddy rushed in to help, and grabbed the Infants' Tylenol. She swallowed it down quickly, and buried her head into me. I rocked her for a while until the medicine brought her temp down, and helped her little body calm and go back to sleep.

She was able to sleep until morning, and woke up much happier. Then my 2 year old woke up feeling bad too, and I realized I had two teething babies. TWO.

Two teething babies at once. One of the most difficult parts about having babies so close together, is when they don't feel well. You know how they say bad things happen in 3's? I have 3 kids, so we can't just have one sick kid, we usually get all three!

I'm so thankful for the Infants' Tylenol to ease the pain for my babies, because sometimes they need more than just mommy's snuggles.

And when they start feeling better... Seeing their bright, precious smiles is the greatest feeling in the world!

And what could be better than using their precious smiles to help children in need?

Tylenol has just launched a new campaign called SMILING IT FORWARD™. The fact that some moms are faced every day with a sick child just breaks my heart. I'm so excited that Tylenol is doing their part to help out and make a difference!
