knowing your worth

Before we can even think about being intentional, I think it's so very important to know our worth. Why should we live as intentional beings? Why should we live fiercely, love deeply and commune endlessly? Because He does.

Our Heavenly Father paints the picture of what intentional living should look like.  He loves us deeply, and communes with us endlessly. Jesus Christ was the example of how we should live our lives, and I can't think of anyone who lived more fiercely than He.

Sometimes it can be hard to wake up and live each and every day, each and every moment with purpose. To soak in those tiny moments of rocking a baby to sleep at 4am or knowing your work is not in vain when you sit in a cubicle and peck away at a keyboard all day.

How can we be intentional in THOSE moments? The exhausting and sometimes life-draining moments.

Because you are worth it. He fights for your heart and loves you to no end.

In Him, we are:

Fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)  His treasured possession. (Deut. 7:6) Complete (Col. 2:10) The apple of His eye. (Psalm 17:8) Chosen. (1 Peter 2:9) His friend (John 15:15) Redeemed (Romans 3:24) An heir (Romans 8:17) Set free (Galatians 5:1) Holy & blameless (Eph. 1:4)

.....and on and on and on....

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10 -
