happy birthday baby girl!

My precious Jessi Girl, Well, little girl. Our first year is now coming to a close. Parts of it FLEW by, and parts of it seemed to never end. For the first three months, I really wanted to put you back inside just so you would stop crying. The colic was brutal, but we all survived and came out stronger on the other end. You sleep like a ROCKSTAR. People keep telling me that I'm spoiled and no child should ever sleep as much as you, but I think it's just because you are amazing. You are currently sleeping 13-14 hours every night and taking a 2 hour nap in the afternoons. Thank you!

What a joy you are. Your smiles, giggles and constant talking fill our home and make my heart so full. You like to laugh with people when they laugh, never wanting to miss out on the fun. You talk SO much, and I really wish I knew what was going through that tiny head of yours! You are so passionate about what you love to do, and it's a blast to watch you play and learn.

You are SMART. So very smart. You are blowing us away with your vocabulary and how quickly you catch on to new words and objects.

Words you are currently saying: Dada Mama Jack Duck Ball Fan Slide Shoes Book Light Block Uh oh! Night Night Bye bye Baby

You are also starting to learn animal sounds. You can do what a dog says and what a cow says. You are working on duck and pig. So cute to watch you do your little noises!

You love going to the duck pond and playing on the swings at the park. You are such an outside girl and love being out, but hate when the wind blows in your face. You love being at home with your puppy and your toys. You enjoy watching Veggie Tales and climbing on anything and everything.

What an amazing year we've had together, Munchkin. You are beautiful, smart and an absolute blast. I am a better person every day because of you. I can't imagine my life without you now, and being your mom has been the best experience of my life. Thank you for being the amazing little person you are, and constantly being the light of our lives.

We love you little girl.

Always, Mommy
