I got spoiled for my birthday! I wanted to share some of the awesomeness I received! My parents came out from Oklahoma to visit and Brook had a few days off work so we had a great time celebrating.  The munchkin decided it was time to start teething so she gave me the gift of spending a LOT more time with her…in the middle of the night.  Poor kid.

But I also got some stinkin’ amazing gifts from my outstanding family. From hubby…iPhone 4. Rock on. Love it so much! From the kid (and hubby and pup)…a super cute strap for my camera. It still hasn’t arrived yet but I can’t wait to get this on my camera! From the parentals…a blender. Because afterall I’m old and like to blend. From the in-laws…the Vintage Pearl necklace I’ve been wanting with the kid’s name on it.  Looking forward to adding more charms to this as we add on to our family!

Week 15 – {July 2 – July 8}

Friday 7/2 – We love learning & playing with daddy on his day off.

Saturday 7/3 – Bath time is…fun?

Sunday 7/4 - Happy 4th of July! We got our very first tooth today!!!!

Monday 7/5 -We finally discovered our toes! They are soooo interesting!

Tuesday 7/6 – Mimi & Poppy came to visit and I got some new shades.

Wednesday 7/7 – We love our evening walks on the beach.

Thursday 7/8 - Happy Birthday Mommy!!

It’s amazing how when you have a child, it’s just really not about you anymore.  I love birthdays and have always been really excited about my birthday…but this year is just a little different.  All I care about is her and what is best for her.  I wish it was her birthday so we could celebrate her instead of me! (Ok, I really don’t wish it was because that would mean she was growing up and I’d like her to stop for a few minutes!!)

My First Birthday – July 8, 198(cough)

I’ll try to have fun and celebrate my birthday…but I can’t help but be thankful of the little blessing I have and that I get to enjoy her today! Best gift ever!

Well, we are officially teething! I’ve been thinking she was, but so many people kept telling me there was no way this early. Mama always knows though huh?? Yesterday we popped our first tooth.  I was sitting in church and hubby was sitting in the row behind me running the video camera when I discovered it.  She crammed my finger in her mouth and ouch…sharpness! I got so excited, hopefully the entire place didn’t hear me turn around and quietly announce/yell at hubby that we have a tooth.

Kinda hard to tell, she wasn’t letting me take a picture of it…
but it’s there if you look close!

We’ve been a major drool monster since the beginning but now that the teeth are coming it’s kicked up a level.  I am about to move on from bibs to just hanging a bucket around her neck to catch it all.  Wow that’s some moisture coming out of such a small person.

Congrats munchkin on your first tooth! Mommy is so proud! If you don’t hear from me in a few days, I might be drowning in a sea of drool.

Week 14 – {June 25 – July 1}

Friday 6/25 — Munchkin turns 3 months old!

Saturday 6/26 — Making friends with Mr. Monkey. BFF already.

Sunday 6/27 - At church with Daddy!

Monday 6/28 – Our first shipment in from diapers.com! Oh…it’s the little things.

Tuesday 6/29 – Rolled back to front!! She was determined to get it down this week & she did!

Wednesday 6/30 - First trip to the pool! Such a cute water baby!

Thursday 7/1 - Out shopping with mommy.  The cashier at Wal-Mart kept calling her “he”.
That big blue bow just screams boy huh?

We had a great time at the pool! She didn’t seem to love it or hate it…just stared at the water pretty much the entire time. Funny girl. I can’t believe how fast my baby girl is growing, soon she’ll be swimming away all by herself!

Saturday 6/19 – Up to some sort of trouble?

Sunday 6/20 – On a family walk. She is loving being carried and getting to see everything!

Tuesday 6/21 – Morning playtime is the best!! (Plus she can’t stay in one place anymore,
it’s all over the floor for us!!)

3 Months Old!!
