A PERSONAL NOTE FROM KARA-KAE

I'm so thrilled that you're here! I'm Kara-Kae, a complete mess covered in grace. (Goodness, aren’t we all?) I'm married to my best friend, Brook and we have three beautiful girls and a handsome little dude. We serve in ministry in our church where my husband is the Creative Arts Pastor, and I am the co-founder and Executive Director of an online and global ministry for moms called Thrive Moms. What a life.

I'm passionate about encouraging women to reach their potential in their marriages, as moms and as daughters of Christ. After having my third baby in three years, I went through an incredibly difficult season battling post partum anxiety and depression. From that season, Thrive Moms was birthed. I knew that so many moms out there were struggling like me and in desperate need of a reminder that God loves us, we are doing His holy work and every day is worth it.

Thrive Moms has become the passion of my heart and it's an honor to lead the ministry and pour into moms and encourage them every day! At Thrive Moms, we encourage moms daily, support hundreds of local groups around the world, provide free resources for moms such as our conferences and virtual prayer room.

I spent years chasing after a false reality and looking for love in all the wrong places. I was "serving God" because that's what I was supposed to do until I met my husband, met the real God I had been chasing after blindly for so many years, and fell in love with a Savior who offers abundant grace. I love serving in ministry alongside my family and it's such a joy for us to love people and pursue a true community that Jesus taught us about.

I'm passionate about seeing women choose life for their children. I love real conversations, sweet tea and good cozy blanket. I believe anything can be cured with a plate of bacon and a good cup of sweet tea.  I'm crazy about my husband and determined to have a marriage that stand the test of time and makes my kids roll their eyes when they see us together. Thanks for being a part of my journey, I hope you find encouragement and know that you have a seat at the table here.

Love, KK
