Pregnancy is…. interesting. I made it through the phase of hardly being able to eat anything and have now entered the phase of wanting to eat EVERYTHING.
Yesterday I was craving one of those GIANT Baked Potatoes smothered in Chopped BBQ Beef.

My favorite is from Jason’s Deli, but the closest Jason’s to us was at least 2 hours away. So my amazing husband did all he could to find me one, and he succeeded. He’s got this pregnancy stuff down. What a good man I have!!
Some may think it looks gross…but I think it’s a little slice of heaven. And Baby Girl thought so too! YUM.
Pregnancy sure brings on some interesting cravings, and they don’t ever seem to go away until you satisfy them. So I’ve been doing my best to satisfy
Another major one of mine is chocolate milk. However, I’m lactose intolerant. Awesome. I drink Lactaid Milk, and I swear I am responsible for keeping them in business. You’re welcome, Lactaid.
If you’ve been pregnant or your significant other has, what have been some crazy cravings you or she has had?

A REAL craving is something that not everyone else would want to eat on a regular basis. Picante sauce on ice cream – now that is a REAL craving!! And you turned out okay, well, kind of okay.

I only had 2 cravings – I went through a phase of wanting anything potatoe (fries, mashed, baked, anything POTATOE!!!). And then around Christmas time I went through a phase of being addicted to those peppermint oreos – got in trouble that month at the dr…apparently oreos and milk every night can make you gain a little weight, who knew!!

With Cade, all I seemed to want was Mexican food and Buffalo Wild Wings! With baby boy #2, it’s been random all over the place stuff! Chocolate (New Orleans style) sno-balls (very different from sno-cones), baked potatoes, taquitos from Whataburger, lots of breakfast foods (I guess that’s even when I’m not prego). The strange thing is this time once I eat it, it usually doesn’t sound good at all the next day. Oh yeah…can’t forget the Krispy Kreme episode…I left to go get them myself one night after we ate dinner because I wanted to walk into the shop and SMELL them–something I hadn’t done in years!!! I was only going to get a few and then walked out with 2 & 1/2 dozen (the guy told me it was cheaper that way, and my pregnant self didn’t argue!). Todd & I looked so funny with 2 & 1/2 boxes of donuts stacked in front of us on the coffee table. I only ate 2 of them, and maybe one or two over the next couple of days. He never ended up taking them to work like I thought he was going to do (my justification for buying so many) so we threw the rest of them away.
