We have lived in our Condo in Huntington Beach for 10 months. When we moved in, it was fully furnished, but they were supposed to get their things out in a few weeks. Well…a few weeks turned into a few months. A few months turned into a lot of months. Yesterday, they finally finished moving out.
We finally have the entire place to ourselves, but now we have to decide what to do. Do we move out in December to find a bigger place, but possibly farther from the beach? Do we stay for another year?
Pros:
-We love where we live!!!
-We live 3 blocks from the beach/downtown HB.
-It’s a really nice place for the price.
-I feel safe there, and would feel safe with Baby Girl & I being alone there when Daddy is at work.
Cons:
-No bathtub, only a huge shower. Could we get a little tub for Baby Girl? She would be about 9 months when we would move next Decemeber.
-It’s a long way to take Jack out.
-Not much room for when guests come to visit.
-I have to pack…when I’m 6 months preggo. Yikes.
I guess a lot comes down to what we find for a good price. Lots to think about. Thanks for listening

Hey girl- can’t really give you advice on your place because I’ve never seen it, but I’m about to move AGAIN (after living here about a month) while pregnant and I just have to say that it is hard. I’ve had a really hard time packing, remembering what I’ve packed, and keeping my energy level up. It’s like my brain can’t stay focused! Never mind the fact that my body won’t let me lift anything too heavy. Is there a way you can sign only a 6 month lease? So, just in case you decide that having your sweet pea there is too much a hassle (and you need more room) you’re moving when she’s 3 months? (That way, only a baby tub will be enough.)
Hope that helps at all!

We moved into our first house when I was 7 & 3/4 months pregnant. Can I just say…HARD???!!??!! We got through it, but then had to paint the baby’s room (Todd did most of it, but I couldn’t resist doing some of it too because I love to paint…I just kept all the windows open and took lots of breaks).
In the end it was worth it because it was our own place and we loved the way Cade’s nursery turned out. But God opened the doors and we knew it was the right time. Just pray and see what happens. Are you guys wanting to continue renting or buy again? Do you just want more room? Eventually, the bathtub will be important…baby tubs are only so big. Maybe you’ll find a place you like even more in the same area. Then you get to pack up and move with a 9 month old…like we did when we moved back to Fort Worth!! ;p
